Chase Taylor Hackett

Chase Taylor Hackett was raised on a farm in the Midwest — far from his current home in New York City. After writing for the theatre (under a different name), he turned to fiction, having no idea how to write a novel. Hence the title of his first book — Where Do I Start? To his amazement, it was published by Lyrical Press/Kensington Books in 2017.
At the end of that book, he realized he was left with a loose character who was a total jerk, and he wondered: What would happen if the jerk met someone who had no tolerance for jerks?
​And the Next Thing You Know… he’d written another novel, which was published in 2018.
